The Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) consists of social service transportation providers, users, and administrative agencies representing the elderly, disabled, and economically disadvantaged citizens of Humboldt County. The SSTAC's regularly scheduled meetings are on the first Wednesday in even months (see time and dates in Calendar).
The purpose of the Humboldt County Social Services Transportation Advisory Council is to provide support and guidance to HCAOG on transportation issues, and specifically in relation to leading and participating in the annual “unmet transit needs” process. The SSTAC will champion the transportation disadvantaged residents of the County in helping them to identify unmet transit needs and will facilitate action to meet reasonable transit needs.
